The "LocoMotion" Tube fly features soft feathers to create maximum action in the water. Hot color gets the attention of marauding gamefish. This medium sized "bluewater" style fly is tied on a tube to allow the angler to choose various hook sizes to match fishing situations, and to mount a popper head for fish that respond to a surface commotion. Fish this with or without a popper head for all kinds of inshore and offshore predators including tuna, barracuda, giant trevally, sailfish, pike, and more. Trailer hooks for these are sold separately; see below for available configurations.

Good choices for flash are Flashabou in various colors, along with Krystal Flash and Lateral Scale in the thin cut size. Epoxy or light-cured resin is used to coat the head/eyes.
