Avalon Permit Fly

This innovative Permit fly has quickly become a classic fly for Cuba as well as other locations where Permit feed on crabs and shrimp. Soft rabbit fur "wings" and rubber legs feature plenty of action in the water... the beaded "keel" keeps the fly fishing upright, putting the hook in the correct position to work on suspicious permit. The brass beads also add a sound element - clicking together softly when retrieved, which may mimic the sounds made by crabs and mantis shrimp.
