Saltwater Flies Mainpage | Chris Windram's Saltwater Fly Museum
The "GT" or Giant Whistler fly is a big whistler style fly with oversize eyes - excellent for all kinds of big predator species. This is a serious fly for seriously tough fish - we like this kind of pattern for Giant Trevally and other bruiser reef dwellers, Barracuda, Northern Pike, and even jungle tarpon in dark river water. The eyes on this fly make a rattling sound for added attraction, and big #6/0 hooks are strong enough to hold massive fish - think PNG Black Bass!
