Skinny Minny

The Skinny Minny style is an fly effective in a variety of fishing situations - this fly is equally at home in a box for bonefish, seatrout and redfish, or even striped bass. Great for estuary fishing - the Skinny Minny can imitate a shrimp or small minnow equally well. We call it the Skinny Minny for it's usefulness in shallow water, but this slow-sinking pattern fishes very nicely in in deeper waters too. Soft fur wing and fine flash have great breathing action in the water and the colors in the wing have a beautiful glow. Similar to a Clouser minnow, but with more lightly weighted eyes, this is a prime pattern for bonefishing from a boat, and on flats that are closer to knee-deep than ankle deep. $7.29/ea.
