Cockroach Tarpon Fly

One of the all-time classic tarpon flies and still a very useful and important pattern for tarpon in a wide variety of locations. Traditional splayed feather tails make a nice swimming action in the water, and the barred pattern on the feathers is suggestive of many shrimp, crabs, and baitfish. Excellent fly for both clear water and backcountry situations. Alternate photos: Grizzly/Orange, Grizzly/Tan. Please note that the photo shows Varivas hooks on some of these flies... the Varivas is no longer available so we have switched over to the Gamakatsu SL12 1X #1/0 and #2/0 hooks for these flies.
